GIG-Egypt has signed a cooperation protocol with the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) as part of the FRA Fintech Forum 2025. The protocol aims to implement remote vehicle inspection, and the proposal has been submitted through the FRA Sandbox platform for evaluation.

This initiative aims to:

• Accelerate the vehicle inspection process using artificial intelligence technologies

• Enhance customer experience

• Support digital transformation efforts in Egypt’s insurance sector

The remote inspection process is carried out by sending the customer a link, through which they can access the platform within a specified timeframe and record a video of the vehicle following the inspector’s guidelines. This enables the inspection to be completed accurately and efficiently.
